Bio Sensor Program

Today I began the Bio Sensor Program with the puppies.  The program is a series of 5 short exercises
that are carried out once a day for 14 days.  The purpose of each exercise is to expose the puppies to short increments of controlled stress, followed by recovery.  The exercises include holding the puppy in three different positions (head up, head down, and on their back), followed by tactile stimulation of a paw with a q-tip and then thermal stimulation by placing them on a cold towel.  Each exercise is carried out for 3 seconds, which is increased to 4 seconds after 4 days and then 5 seconds for the remaining days of the program.  The benefits of the bio sensor program are that adult dogs will recover from stress quicker, have an improved immune system, improved heart function and improved social skills.

The bio sensor program is the first step of the SuperStar Dog program for breeders by Jerry Hope.  At each developmental stage of the puppies growth novel stimuli and exercises are added to the puppies environment.  Each with the end goal to create a well socialized, stable and confident adult dog.  As we reach each period in the puppies lives I will describe the next series of socialization protocols.  For now here are more pics and videos from today. (first two pics are the girl, second two are the boy)

  1. They are just GORGEOUS!!! Two peas in a pod, aren't they? Only a few days old, but they really seem to have some energy! The bio stim program is so interesting.
